I started collecting action figures back in the 1990's when I would take my nephews to the local store to buy a toy. I saw the Toy Biz Marvel figures and bought a couple of different Spider-Men. I was re-living my childhood.

I was blessed to be raised by a mom and Dad who saw my interest or listened to me and bought me things for Christmas that was to my liking. Yes, sometimes we had to wait until Christmas to get things we wanted. G.I. Joe was the first "action figure" that i remembered receiving. Then Batman figures and vehicles, models and other items followed. I remember Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea's Seaview and the Lost in Space switch-n-go play set. What a wonderful time as I remember. That is how it begins...with your memories and collecting what YOU like, not what is popular. If you stay that route, then it will never get old! Now comes the late 90's and Toy Biz raises the bar with their articulated action figures of your favorite Marvel characters. Series 1 was a game changer. Then came the Spider-Man series...
